Welsh Show 2026

Thank you to all at the Welsh Alpaca Show. Team Dark Sky had a wonderful day, topped off with our beautiful girl Dark Sky Whispering Angel being awarded Supreme Suri

The rest of the team also acquitted themselves well with a total of 2 colour champions and 3 reserves in a highly competitive Suri field.

Many thanks to the whole organising team, the excellent Judges - Roger Clarke and Caroline Barugh- all our fellow exhibitors and the many visitors who made it a lovely day in Welshpool and a good fun evening catch up on Friday.

The Dark Sky Sash winners:

Dark Sky Whispering Angel - Supreme Suri, Champion Fawn Female Suri
Sire: Dark Sky El Niño
Dam: Dark Sky Hnoss

Dark Sky Don Julio Anjeo - Champion Light Male Suri

Dark Sky Armond - Reserve Champion Light Male Suri

Dark Sky Pastelitos - Reserve Champion White Female Suri

Dark Sky Skyler - Reserve Champion Grey Female Suri

Once again, a great weekend at the Dorset Show with fabulous weather, fun times with alpaca friends and loads of show goers visiting and enjoying the alpaca section !

We had just a small Dark Sky team of 4 girls but were delighted with our results and over the moon to be crowned the Supreme Suri for the third consecutive year

Dark Sky Whispering Angel - Champion Fawn Female and Supreme Champion Suri

Dark Sky Pastelitos - Champion White Female Suri

Dark Sky Skyler - Champion Grey Female Suri

Dark Sky Hot Chocolate - Reserve Champion Roan Female Suri

It was great to take part in the Grand Parades each day alongside the other livestock and many thanks to the judges, friends and our fellow show committee members - all in all a lovely weekend.

Fabulous day as always at the North Somerset Show and we were absolutely delighted to be awarded Champion Fawn Female and Supreme Suri Champion with Dark Sky Whispering Angel (Sire: Dark Sky El Niño, Dam: Dark Sky Hnoss)

Also very proud of our other Suri champions

Dark Sky Shaggy - Champion White Male
Dark Sky Pastelitos - Champion White Female
Dark Sky Don Julio Añejo - Champion Light Male

And Dark Sky Skyler who was Reserve Champion Grey Female Suri

Well it was Cornish Bank Holiday weather but nothing phased the CCA show team, the judges or the exhibitors and the first ‘official’ Cornwall Halter Show was great!

We were delighted to be awarded Reserve Supreme Suri with Dark Sky Whispering Angel and are pleased to report our other champion sashes and rosettes are now dried out on the Aga!
